Is your character magically inclined? Does your character appear to be human but really aren't? Is it the other way around, where they're really a human but they're disguising as a monster? Is your character's magic just super crazy powerful?!

Eidola can sense that. Or at least, she can... with your approval.

Please note that this is an OPT-IN post and not opt-out. Meaning that if you don't post here saying that you're okay with her sensing your character's nature, she will not be able to. I don't want to step on toes, especially for characters who rely on hiding their true nature.

Please comment here if you're okay with Eidola being able to sense the following:

- If your character appears human but in reality is not (vampire, demon, monster, fairy, etc)

- If your character appears as a monster but in reality is not

- If your character has magic or any other kind of supernatural ability

- ... any other ability I may not have mentioned that your character is trying to hide or does not make apparent.

If your character has more than one of the above and you only want Eidola's knowledge limited to one or the other, let me know! Don't want her to know anything? Eidola's power will not work without your approval, and can be handwaved as the lacking of Phantasmagoria's influence in the world muddling her sensory powers.

She can know as much, or as little, as you'd like. Let me know your preferences!

In the future or with a really interesting plot it might change, though.

Opting in with Emerald and Weiss for being able to sense it, but idk maybe not their specific abilities? Because that's kinda like. Personal. Soul-stuff. I don't know how specific Eidola's ability gets but she's more than welcome to sense that they have aura and such.

However, with Liv I have a question because of the way zombies in her world are set up. In iZombie, zombieism is a physical and curable mutation of a human being caused by a unique combination of Max Rager (an energy drink) and a special strain of Utopium (a drug) cut with something that has not yet been revealed. Since these are all non-magical things that cause a physical change, would Eidola be able to sense this or no? I only ask because yes, she's a zombie and can see memories of brains she eats and takes on their personality traits but it's not a magicy thing and teeeechnically they're still human, they just have to cannibalize other humans to stay functioning.

Opting in with Sakuya. She has a displacement around her as she has bent spacetime into pockets to carry weapons.

Koishi is an opt-in too, though she's obviously a monster. Eidola can sense that she can't sense anything from Koishi. Since Koishi is a psychic and detection hole. And just general unsettling air to her and things since its like staring into the void.

Zeref is, for all intents and purposes, human, at least biologically. She would be able to tell that he's a wizard - an extraordinarily powerful wizard, if she can also judge power levels - and she'd also be able to tell that he's immortal. It's also potentially very dangerous to be around him, as well, but that's also limited by a opt-in permissions post for obvious reasons.

That said, if it's possible, she might also be able to tell that the immortality - and to a lesser extent, the death waves - have an external source. As in, he didn't do this to himself, but the influence of whatever did is weak in this world, much like the case with her and the Phantasmagoria as implied in the OP.

She's welcome to figure out that chaos is... something immensely old and powerful, but that he's wearing an entirely human body for whatever reason.

With Soma, she's welcome to figure out he's partway between human and vampire, and if she ever meets Dracula, she can also figure out they share a lot of the same power.

Aeslyn is immune to external influence, but she's quite obviously not human to start with, and also obviously uses magic.

Symphonia was one of those games that I wanted to play but never had the chance to, so I don't know too much. I just know she's capable of causing tooth aches with her cute (which Eidola will totally point out). Any specifics I need to know?

Her power can get specific, but for things not related to her world(s), it'd be very easy for her to not understand what it is she's picking up. In this case, she can get as specific as you want her to! Also, like I mentioned about Neo above to Tash, Eidola would normally be able to see through illusions- would you prefer to keep it for Eidola to be as blind to Emerald's skill as everyone else is? c:

In Liv's case, I would say since it's a physical mutation, she might be able to detect that there's something "not right" but would be unable to specifically pinpoint what it was. Since it's "SCIENCE!" and not anything magical or purely supernatural, it could easily go whichever way you'd rather. She could easily be totally blind to it, or she could have a case of "you're human? I think?? maybe??? I legit can't tell wtf"

Thank you! The source of his immortality will probably interest her because of the resemblence to her and Phantasmagoria.

Since I'm mostly unfamiliar with the canon, what might his magic do to a formless creature like her? 'Phantom' or 'spectre' is kind of the best way to describe her, but she's technically not actually dead? I'm mostly curious to see if he might be someone she could actually come to fear if he could actually potentially kill her. :'D

Yes please. For Emerald's, hers isn't creating an illusion so much as manipulating the mind specifically to make it see something that isn't there. (It's more like forcing a visual and auditory hallucination than creating an illusion.) Chances of her using it on Eidola are slim regardless since she doesn't typically use it unless she needs to accomplish something unless she's someone she considers on her side.

That sounds fine! I'm totally okay with someone suspecting something's wrong with Liv. (It's not like she doesn't act like there's something wrong sometimes anyway.)

I don't know in terms of specific. I mean she can probably sense Fai is much older than he appears (Yuuko stated he is around 7-9 times that of someone else, but...that isn't helpful when CLAMP doesn't give them actual ages.) But he is old never the less.

Tayler probably would be something with changes since magical girls in her world their abilities will change as they change as people and Tayler is slowly changing from being a magical girl with healing abilities to something else.

Krista will probably be going through changes in the future but for now, nothing specific, but will add to this when that happens.

In that case, without spoiling too much, all I can see is that it's divine in origin.

I'm... actually not sure. I know it doesn't affect things that are already 'dead' (I usually headcanon that to include undead, like zombies and vampires), and I know it doesn't affect other immortals unless under very specific circumstances, but if she's not an 'actual' (for lack of a better term) ghost, I'm honestly not sure.

I guess I'd just leave that up to you. If you want it to affect her, it can, if not, I don't mind at all. :)

She's technically a human, but she's also an angel. But not in the biblical sense. Angels are kind of different in Symphonia in that people become angels; they're not born that way. The key thing is she appears human unless she has her wings out. I believe her mana also only reads as human since no one realized the other incognito angels were angels, even the ones that could sense mana. She's super strong and has super good hearing. And angel powers/attacks, but those don't come up a lot. So use your best judgement eyyyy if you think any of that would trigger it I guess?
